Experts unite at Data Centre Solutions 2006

Raritan UK and Unite Technology Partnership are to host a new seminar focused on the issues of managing IT infrastructure equipment in today's datacentre at the Data Centre Management Solutions Event 2006.

The event will run on 14 and 15 June on board the Sunborn Yacht Hotel in London ’s Docklands and is designed for IT directors and managers. The Raritan and Unite seminar will focus on solutions and best practices for improving the reliability and efficiency of datacentre management.  Sessions will examine management trends and the latest technologies for securing the datacentre and simplifying IT management.

Raritan is a provider of products for managing IT equipment and the mission-critical applications and services that run on it at more than 50,000 datacentres and other IT sites around the world. Raritan's IT management solutions - based on K¬VM (keyboard, video, mouse) switches, serial console servers, management software and remote connectivity products - are designed to enable companies to proactively monitor and manage system health and vulnerability, as well as troubleshoot, access and repair faults.

The company believes that this will simplify and accelerates datacentre work processes, improving service uptime and staff productivity.

The Unite Technology Partnership is a consortium of companies committed to a customer-focused business offering. All partners are product, technology or service-based companies who share common values, business ethics and service delivery, with the stated ultimate aim of recognising that individually their own offerings rarely meets all of their customers' needs.

Unite says its partners are committed to delivering high availability, low risk systems, reducing time to market and becoming the preferred supply partner.
