New features include an automated user acceptance testing component, to replace the lengthy manual process where key business managers must document and validate each functional area of an application to ensure that it both works and meets business requirements.
The new version of the tool has been integrated with Mercury WinRunner, to help users turn existing scripts into reusable drag-and-drop business process testing components. It is also integrated with SPI Dynamics’ QAInspect tool to bring testing for security defects into the same overall testing process.
Mercury said more than 150 companies worldwide had selected its Business Process Testing tool after less than a year on the market, including three of the top five banks, two of the top three insurance companies, and two of the top four conglomerates on the Fortune Global 2000 list.
