A new chief executive will take over at Siemens Business Services next month.

Bernd Bischoff, former executive vice-president of sales, marketing and customer services at Fujitsu Siemens, will take over on 1 July as president and chief executive officer of SBS, the 50-50 joint venture between Germany's Siemens and Japan's Fujitsu. He will  replace Adrian von Hammerstein, who will remain a member of the board of directors at Fujitsu Siemens.

Von Hammerstein will replace Paul Stodden as group president of IT service provider SBS. Stodden, who ran Fujitsu Siemens before joining SBS, will take over as chairman of mobile phone service provider Debitel.

Debitel was recently sold by Swisscom to the UK private equity group Permira Advisers.
