IT services provider Accenture and Tibco Software have formed a global alliance to offer services and software to users that need help integrating disparate enterprise applications.

The alliance's first offering includes Accenture services and Tibco software and targets users wanting to integrate Oracle's Oracle 11i enterprise resource planning (ERP) applications with non-Oracle ERP applications, including those from SAP, PeopleSoft and Siebel Systems.

This first joint offering will feature Tibco's ActiveEnterprise suite of integration tools, the companies said.

Tibco makes products for integrating software, applications and systems from different vendors.

Accenture has enterprise-software integration alliances with several other vendors, including IBM, Microsoft and BEA Systems.
