Only 10% of the IT managers responding to this week's Computer Weekly/Harvey Nash Big Question poll said that their companies would need to tighten checks on IT training providers in the wake of widespread problems with training programmes.

The Government has suspended its Individual Learning Accounts following widespread fraud and mis-selling of training programmes, including those for IT skills.

While a massive 73% said they were confident that their checks are tight enough, 17% said that they were unsure.
