NeuLevel, the company responsible for assigning and controlling registration of the new .biz Top Level Domain (TLD), has extended its deadline for domain name applications following last week's terrorist attacks in the US.

Individuals and businesses will now have an extra week to apply for domain names using the .biz suffix. Registration will close at midnight on Friday 21 September.

For those who miss the deadline, NeuLevel will again be taking applications on a first-come, first-served basis after the .biz registry is launched on 1 October.
