Kumar's new group CIO role at Adhunik will involve complete integration of all the technologies and interfaces across the group. As part of these new CIO responsibilities, he will also be responsible for building harmony as well as synergy among processes, technology and people within the group. As part of his IT plans in Adhunik, Kumar intends to adopt business intelligence. As far as IT infrastructure is concerned, the group's new CIO is looking at building sustainable infrastructure with reliable security measures in place. Apart from that, unified communication, collaboration, knowledge management and workflow management feature on the new CIO's roadmap. In order to build a robust storage infrastructure, Kumar has plans for disaster recovery, data center consolidation, business continuity planning and green IT.
