Lloyd's Register, the certification, classification, and inspection service provider to the energy and transport sectors, is to adopt the cloud-based product Netsuite OpenAir .
Some 9,000 employees worldwide will gain access to business management tools hosted by Netsuite via their web browsers.

The deal comes on top of two other major corporate wins for Netsuite. One is with Software AG, for 3,000 seats, the other with Siemens' professional services division, for 2,000 seats, Netsuite CEO Zach Nelson told Computer Weekly.
Nelson was in London to launch Netsuite OpenAir, one of several "verticalisations" of the Netsuite product platform. OpenAir addresses the unique requirements of professional servicees businesses that depend on project management and time-based billing.
