Vodafone is reducing its basic charges for wireless
broadband connectivity from next month.
From 2 July, Vodafone will introduce three price plans, which
should reduce the overall charges currently levied on
customers.
Vodafone UK has 280,000 wireless broadband customers, but those
on existing contracts will have to request a switch to the new
tariffs.
The new Mobile Broadband tariff drops prices to £25 per month
flat rate access for UK-wide connectivity.
These customers will also be able to connect abroad for £8.50
for 24-hour connectivity.
The new Mobile Broadband 24 is designed for domestic users who
do not want to pay a monthly basic charge. They instead pay £8.50
for each 24-hour session in the UK.
The Mobile Broadband Travel package is for extensive domestic
and foreign business travellers and costs £95 per month for access
on any network where Vodafone has a roaming agreement.
