Oracle has announced the expansion of its
governance, risk, and compliance (GRC)
applications to help companies manage multiple GRC initiatives
across the enterprise.
A new application suite manages compliance initiatives in
heterogeneous environments, and provides increased security through
automated, pre-defined ERP controls.
It is also designed to provide greater visibility through
expanded GRC intelligence.
The Oracle GRC application suite combines the heterogeneous
compliance and content management capabilities Oracle acquired from
its Stellent acquisition. The solution is also combined with Oracle
Business Intelligence technology.
The Oracle GRC application suite is built on Oracle’s database
offering and its Oracle Fusion Middleware.
For financial compliance, the suite includes support for
international financial regulations, including OMB A-123 in the US,
Multilateral Instrument 52-109 in Canada, JSOX in Japan, KSOX in
South Korea, and the Turnbull Report in the UK.
Oracle’s GRC platform also spans critical security technologies,
covering identity management, data encryption and label-based
security.
It also supports enterprise change management, consolidated and
secure data audit and content, and records management capabilities
to categorise, store, retain and manage critical GRC
information.
