Video: Sony unveils PlayStation Suite store for Android games

Following on from the leaked Sony Xperia Play and the announcement of the Sony PSP2 aka NGP, Sony has also announced that they will release a cross-platform software platform called PlayStation Suite.

The idea is that you can download games for any Android device (tablet or phone) and fill it with games.

The store will initially be filled with PSOne games but will soon have new games in there too.

Sony will have a quality controlled scheme called PlayStation Certified in place to check that games are of the quality they expect and allow game developers the chance to contribute.

It looks like the Xperia Play and the PSP2 NGP will both be able to download games from teh Suite right away and all Android 2.3 devices will follow.
