The UK government is distancing the Romans from its G-cloud initiative in an attempt to distance itself from now defunct group of infrastructure builders.
The latest version of G-Cloud has done away with its use of Roman numerals and in a break from G-Clouds i, ii and iii the government has gone for G-Cloud 4.
The government is reportedly sick of having to give credit to the Romans for the UK infrastructure and wants the G-Cloud to be something the UK can look on as its own creation. Well sort of. What did Apple ever do for us?
