World's most expensive sock

It really could be the world’s most expensive sock. A company called Sensoria Fitness has just knitted the world’s first sock with a built-in sensor for runners. The $119 sock uses smart fabric sensors to send pressure data to a  Sensoria Anklet which uploads data wirelessly either via a computer or through your smartphone when you are out and about.

Apparently it’s washable, which means when you are ready for your next run:

1. Put the Sensoria sock in the washing machine

2. Switch to the 1600 RPM (or faster), max time non-eco wash cycle

3. Sit back and watch how your socks spin round the washing machine and break the world record for an ultra marathon.

Cool. Order me one now.
