Havering Sixth Form College is implementing a cloud-based telephony system and unified communications after selecting InTechnology.
The East London college will use InTechnology’s cloud-based unified communications service and around 100 staff will use IP telephony handsets.
The college wanted to replace a system with “very little capability,” said Graham Francis, director of IT services at the college. “With the adoption of the cloud, new cabling and new IP telephony handsets, we will truly have a unified communications bundle giving us increased functionality and increased use of desktop technology.”

He added that the customisable nature of the system was a key factor in the college’s choice of supplier. “[InTechnology] put forward a bespoke solution that really focused on our requirements rather than trying to make an existing off-the-shelf solution fit.”
