The network infrastructure market declined in the third quarter of last year, with sales of routers and Lan switches falling against the previous quarter.
Analyst IDC said the European router market declined 2.5% compared with the second quarter, with the market valued at £548m as opposed to £562m.
IDC said this decline was fuelled by a slump in the mid-range and small office home office (Soho) markets.
In the Lan switch market, the number of ports shipped dropped 1.4% to 16.2 million compared with 16.4 million in the second quarter.
