From Sustainability to Corporate Social Responsibility and on to Creating Shared Value

I came across this piece via the always well-informed Tracey Rawling Church at Kyocera Mita through LinkedIn.

It’s more about Creating Shared Value (CSV) and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) than a green or low-carbon piece from the Guardian’s Sustainable Business pages and it’s all about getting value out of CSR. You probably won’t get any Green IT or sustainability insight from it, but it’s certainly a very good read on CSR.

There’s one interesting suggestion, that CSR is increasingly being seen as the “new compliance agenda,” with sustainability as the transformational change agenda.

This is an area that’s also been discussed by the Harvard Business Review.
