HP ProCurve has released a new single-radio 802.11n wireless access point, the HP ProCurve MSM410, that enables high-bandwidth applications across a network inside hotels, hospital dormitories and office environments.

It also announced the integration of the Colubris Networks product line into the existing ProCurve networking portfolio, 45 days after it took over the company.

The combined portfolio gives customers a choice of integrated and overlay wireless systems that leverage investments in existing network infrastructure and deliver interoperability 802.11 devices from multiple suppliers.

An updated version of ProCurve Manager adds the ability to automatically discover, map and initiate management of any Colubris product and gives customers a single view of their wired and wireless network topology.

The HP ProCurve product line supports organisations from large enterprises to small and medium-sized businesses. It includes radio frequency planning and security products to ensure smooth deployments and compliance with security regulations, including HIPAA and PCI.
