Computer Weekly and David Taylor Associates have joined forces to launch the CEO-CIO Summit conference - an event for senior board executives that is aimed at increasing understanding on the issues CEOs want addressed by their CIOs.

David Taylor said the conference will give specific advice to CIOs on furthering "their teams, their careers and their organisation".

Speakers include former Tesco CEO Colin Cobain and Catherine Doran, CIO at Network Rail.

Taylor said, "It is about IT playing a lead role at a strategic and business level."

It will be held on April 15 at the Dorchester Hotel in Park Lane, London.

An early booking rate is available until February 29 at.
