The Victory Challenge team competing in the Americas Cup has deployed endpoint security from SecureWave to prevent the loss of racing strategy data and design details about the team's racing yacht (pictured above).

The team is working out of Valencia, where this year's race is being held, making modifications ahead of the competition. The close proximity of the teams in port creates the potential for data to be removed from the team's system via a USB device.

Eric Ernst, IT manager of the Victory Challenge team, said SecureWave Sanctuary removed that risk by preventing unauthorised USB devices from connecting to the network and by blocking unauthorised software.
