IMLogic is to introduce predictive threat protection to its instant messaging security system to help protect users from new attacks.
With the new real-time threat protection system (RTTPS), IMLogic says it will improve its established system which tries to protect users from using known signatures of threats.

IMLogic will now analyse its customers’ instant messaging traffic to pinpoint potentially new threats before they are widely spread in the wild.
The system assesses potential risks and applies filters to identify and block a potential attack.
IMLogic says IM threats have ballooned by almost 2000% in the first eight month of this year, when compared to last year.
RTTPS is an add-on to IMLogic's IM Manager, and will cost around £6 per user per year.
