Deutsche Post DHL builds wide area network with Vodafone

Deutsche Post DHL (DPDHL) is rolling out a managed wide area network across 67 countries to improve its tracking capabilities and provide access to bespoke applications,

Vodafone Global Enterprise, which manages the communication needs of enterprise users, will provide a fully managed Multiprotocol Label Switching network connecting more than 400 sites across Eastern Europe, the Middle East and Africa. The contract involves deploying an international wide area network across the three regions and a domestic Wan in Sub-Saharan Africa.

Vodacom's country businesses - Gateway Business Services and Vodacom Business South Africa - have combined with Vodafone Global Enterprise to provide connectivity and management between the international networks as well as project management.
