Vodafone has become the latest mobile operator to offer the iPhone, with the announcement of availability from 14 January.
Following O2's exclusive deal with Apple ending, a growing band of operators cashing in on the iPhone's popularity.
Vodafone joins O2, Orange and Tesco in offering Apple's popular handset.
Vodafone's lowest-cost tariff with a free handset is £35 per month. The two-year contract includes 600 minutes of free calls and unlimited texts and Wi-Fi services.
O2 has had problems with its network recently, with some users unable to access the internet on their phone.
