Apple is said to have axed 50 enterprise sales staff in the
US.
Valleywag.gawker.com reports an "Apple source in the enterprise
group confirmed the layoffs" yesterday.
The enterprise group sells servers and other Apple products to
corporate customers, and makes up only a fraction of Apple's
largely consumer-facing business.
News of the cuts in enterprise came on the day Apple updated its
iMac lines and introduced the new Mac Pro.
