Lane to become chairman of SeeBeyond
Former Oracle executive Ray Lane took up a new position as chairman of software maker SeeBeyond Technology on 3 October 2001.
Lane served on SeeBeyond's board for four years. He is also a partner at the venture capital firm Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers LLC.
Lane worked at Oracle for eight years, helping the company build annual revenue from close to $1bn (£0.67bn) in 1992 to more than $10bn (£6.7bn) by 2000. Lane left in July 2000.
SeeBeyond makes a suite of software for cross-platform data integration in enterprises. The company reported that it expects revenue for its third quarter to be between $41m (£27.9m) and $42m (£28.5m).
