Huddle, the collaboration platform that uses the LinkedIn social networking service, has tied up with conferencing company InterCall to provide subscribers with unified collaboration, communication and social networking.
Through the partnership, InterCall customers can access Huddle's secure online workspaces for project management tools within conferences.
InterCall conferencing customers can schedule phone and web meetings in Huddle and share dial-in details, documents and meeting minutes, as well as accessing project management and collaboration tools, including discussions, whiteboards, tasks and document versioning and audit trail, the companies said.
"Our partnership means that users across the globe can work together better, online or during live conferencing, regardless of their size or budget," said Alastair Mitchell, co-founder and CEO of Huddle.
Under the terms of the deal, InterCall will sell Huddle globally and give each of its customers a free Huddle account. Similarly, Huddle's enterprise customers will be able to take advantage of InterCall's conferencing services.
