Kiwis have faster tubes!
This week's networking podcast sees Richard Chirgwin caht with Akamai to learn about its annual State of the Internet report
This week's edition of A Series of Tubes is sponsored by Nortel.
Akamai made a bit of a splash recently when it announced that Australians connect at lower speeds than Kiwis. This was part of the company's State of the Internet report, which used speed measurements collected at Akamai's data centres to rate countries according to how fast their users hit the Akamai servers. This week, Tubes talks to Akamai's Director Asia Pacific, Stuart Spiteri, about the report.
And in this week's sponsor interview, Tubes talks to Nortel's Adam Kleemeyer about saving power in data centres.
