The partners claim their new venture - a combination of recruiting software and internet-based staffing services - will help companies hire qualified candidates with "unprecedented speed and efficiency".
According to Palle Bisgaard, president of business solutions Europe at Futurestep, Recruitment Factory promises to "revolutionise" the recruitment process by providing an "end-to-end solution" that fully automates the location, evaluation and hiring of candidates.
The product is also expected to feature tools that will enable companies to create and post job opportunities, search applicant databases, monitor the effectiveness of the hiring process, and even share candidate information or pool resources with other businesses in the same industry.
"Our respective companies bring complementary skills, unsurpassed customer bases and deep industry expertise to this partnership," adds Elena Ordonez, senior vice president GBU human capital management at SAP. "We're confident that Recruitment Factory will enable our mutual customers to make faster, smarter and more-efficient hiring decisions from among the most-talented pool of candidates available anywhere."
The initial version is due to be released to pilot customers in Europe early next year.
