Virtual farmer sacked for milking his cows

Gordon Brown need to think carefully about his plan to spend £300m giving laptops and 12 months’ online access to 270,000 poor school kids.
News just in from Bulgaria reports that a Plovdiv town councillor has been sacked for playing the Farmville game on Facebook. Apparently he was discovered milking a virtual cow on his laptop during committee meetings. To prevent others being tempted, all councillors have had their laptops confiscated.
Downtime reckons similar abuse of the schools laptops is guaranteed, but at least the kids might know where milk comes from.
