Typically dogs are the ones sniffing out things, but now, thanks to yet another Twitter-enabled application, owners can keep close tabs on their canine friends.
Puppy Tweets is an electronic dog tag with a sensor that you attach to your dog’s collar, according to reports from Australia.
The sensor detects the dog’s movements and sounds, and sends tweets to a Twitter account that can be monitored from any PC or smartphone.
There are 500 tweets programmed into the software that comes with the device, and the frequency of messages is directly related to the activity level of the dog.
Perhaps the devices will trigger a demand for dog-minding services when users realise just how boring their dogs’ lives are while their owners are away from home.
