Scarface mafia hitman red-faced after being nabbed through Facebook

Facebook is not only becoming a drag for some reckless members of generation-Y who are being vetted by recruiters based on their online posting, but criminals are beginning to feel the pinch too.

A mafia hitman, who called himself scarface in online postings, has been arrested after police tracked him down through his Facebook account.

Pasquale Manfredi was caught by Italian police using electronic surveillance equipment.

Not to be left out, a freedom of information request in the US has revealed that FBI investigators are trained to use Facebook and other social networking sites to track down information on suspects.
