What to expect from Sitecore Symposium 2025
The Computer Weekly Developer Network is off to Sitecore Symposium 2025.
As many readers will know, Sitecore is recognised as a company that creates digital products through its agentic experience platform. The platform itself is designed and built for marketing professionals (marketers) to reach and engage with users on what the company likes to call “tailored journeys” that make customers’ stories relevant.
So then… what can we expect?
Held from November 3-5 at the Walt Disney World Dolphin Resort in Orlando, this three-day conference has solid appeal for software application developers working with marketers and other digital leaders as they now explore new use cases, best practices and automation advantage accelerators powered by AI. The event will focus on how AI is transforming every touchpoint from content to commerce.
There are promised to be over 100 sessions, keynotes, hands-on workshops and symposium events throughout the days of the show.
The event starts with pre-conference training and certification sessions before the days of the general sessions and breakouts.
Sitecore will unveil a major upgrade to how brands create and deliver content. Built on Stream and co-developed with top-tier partners, the latest innovation will help teams generate smart, context-aware content that drives results. Think dynamic audience targeting, personalised experiences across every channel (even GEO search) and the ability to build your own agents and use cases. Plus, partners can launch their solutions straight from the new Sitecore Marketplace.
Sitecore also launched the Martech industry’s first AI Innovation Lab in collaboration with Microsoft this year and says it will showcase more of the work in this space at the symposium.
“Our investment in building a high-impact, vibrant partner community is central to our mission of making it easier for our clients to reach, engage and serve their own customers,” said Dave Tilbury, chief operating officer at Sitecore. “With hundreds of partners worldwide, our ecosystem is one of Sitecore’s greatest strengths, driving innovation, scale, and customer success across every region.”

CEO keynote noteworthiness
In his keynote presentation, CEO of Sitecore Eric Stine will explain how the company is “orchestrating experiences across every touchpoint”, which means shortening the distance from content to commerce and scaling personalisation strategies that build trust.
“This is the third wave of the Internet. From summaries to social, it’s how we experience brands now. The brands we admire, the brands we compete with, the brands we love – they’re all reimagining how they reach, engage, convert and serve their audiences,” details Stine’s session preview.
The company says that AI hasn’t just changed marketing, it has transformed how we find answers.
From clicks to conclusions
Sitecore reminds us that search has evolved from clicks to conclusions. Customers now discover brands through signals and summaries. It may feel like marketers’ traffic has vanished, but it hasn’t. It’s simply been re-routed. The question then will be how marketers adapt when new technology intersects with the age-old principle of meeting your customer where they are – especially when “where they are” feels like, well, everywhere?
Other recent news from the company includes note of the summer 2025 launch of a full-featured free trial of XM Cloud, the company’s AI-first, SaaS-native content management service.
AI, content & data
As the foundation of Sitecore’s digital experience platform, XM Cloud is promised to work as a “launchpad for brands entering the agentic era” where AI, content and data converge to deliver personalised, predictive experiences.
With XM Cloud, marketers can design websites and tailor content to audiences as they launch campaigns, all in a real cloud environment. The trial gives marketers access to Sitecore’s most advanced content editing, personalisation and AI capabilities. It is meant to be a “frictionless way to explore” how Sitecore’s platform accelerates digital engagement and unlocks marketing potential.
“In today’s market, time to value wins,” said Michelle Boockoff-Bajdek, Chief Marketing Officer at Sitecore. “XM Cloud gives marketers instant access to build, personalise and launch in real time i.e. no development cycles, no delays. With Sitecore, marketers can move at the speed of their ambition, owning the full journey from first click to revenue.”
Attendees will also be able to join a keynote session with Roger Connolly, chief product officer at Sitecore, as he unveils the latest advancements in Sitecore’s product vision, developed in close collaboration with customers and partners. Large enterprises, including Cadence Bank, NHP Electrical Engineering Products, Western Health Advantage and Shure will explore their digital transformations around customer experience, personalisation and content on stage.
The company says that each session will leave attendees “inspired and better equipped” to navigate agentic AI for marketing. Finally, the winners of Sitecore’s Digital Experience Awards will be revealed as well as the grand winner of its new Partner Agentic AI Challenge.
