Skolkovo Innovation Centre - Russia's Silicon Valley?

You can't host a tech startup event without robots and mini-copters, and both were on view at the Skolkovo Startup Village event.

On the right in this picture is the ExoAtlet from Moscow startup JSC Exorobotics - an exoskeleton designed to assist disabled people. On the left is a rather less socially useful robot kickboxer - officially, a training simulator for martial arts.

Other products in the event's Robot Bazaar included xTurion, a navigational system for monitoring of homes and offices; Webot, a mobile autonomous system remotely controlled by an operator over the internet; and Trik, a construction kit with a software and hardware platform for prototyping personal and service robots.
