What to expect from o9 Solutions aim10x Americas 2025

Summer is over, folks, so it’s time for the European and North American technology conference circuit to get back into gear and the Computer Weekly Developer Network team wants to start things off with a 10-gallon hat.

Dallas, Texas, sees o9 Solutions stage its new, multi-stage conference for North America-based planning leaders, enterprise software engineers, data intelligence professionals and developers of all disciplines.

Held from September 9th to 10th at the Coppell Arts Center in Dallas, the company will use its annual user symposium aim10x Americas 2025 to explain how its enterprise AI software platform works to provide planning and decision-making insights.

Will there be AI?

Any AI available perhaps? You had to ask? Yes of course, o9 will showcase the latest developments, extensions and expanded capabilities in the o9 Digital Brain™ Platform, powered by AI agents and self-learning models.

The company’s newest AI agents combine generative and agentic AI with o9’s proprietary Enterprise Knowledge Graph technology for real-time insights and cross-functional analysis.

“The platform’s new post-game analysis capabilities help identify gaps between plans and execution and uncover value leakage, while self-service tools empower users to adapt and extend the platform through no-code and low-code components,” notes the company, in a technical statement this year.

What does o9 Solutions do?

Top “solutions” at o9 Solutions (if you will pardon the solutions double dipping there) span demand planning software; Integrated Business Planning (IBP) tools; Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) software; AI/ML demand forecasting; Supply Chain Control Tower; Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) functions; sustainability solutions and revenue growth management services and functions.

The company straddles key vertical industries, including automotive suppliers; consumer electronics;, food & beverage; high tech & electronics; home & personal care; medical devices; retail and telecom operators.

In terms of the event itself, o9 says attendees will be able to learn more about digital planning transformation journeys and watch live o9 demos that showcase how to tackle real-world scenarios such as tariffs, demand spikes, supply disruptions etc. They can also witness the launch of o9’s new AI-powered capabilities.

Resilience, change, project storytelling

Key topics covered at aim10x Americas will include interactive workshops examining resilience, change, project storytelling and future organisational design. Sessions will cover (obviously) agentic AI, IBP and hyper-automation strategies and tactics. Attendees will be able to see how this sector of enterprise software helps firms keep pace with shifting demands and supply shocks.

“When increased volatility is the norm, supply chain, commercial, product and financial plans – along with billions of associated decisions – must be recomputed, synchronised, and executed to build resilience and drive growth,” notes  o9’s CEO and co-founder Chakri Gottemukkala in the preview for his keynote.

In his keynote, Gottemukkala will talk about developments designed to help firms evolve from the current state to the next generation of enterprise planning and execution… (and that progressed and evolved stage is a time when and where) real-time learning and continuous innovation, powered by digitised knowledge models and AI agents, drive rapid value.

Paul Polman, business leader, investor and philanthropist, will also host a plenary session designed to explain why what he calls “bold transformation” isn’t just about strategic pivots i.e. it’s about reimagining the role of business in society. A former CEO of Unilever, Polman says he “defied short-termism” to champion a model of purpose-driven, sustainable growth.

“At aim10x Americas, we’re bringing together leaders who are putting AI to the test in real, measurable ways, improving how companies plan, forecast, and respond to constant change. With ongoing supply chain pressures, tariffs and shifting consumer demand, the ability to make faster, smarter decisions is critical. AI is no longer just theoretical; it’s how businesses stay competitive in a tough macroeconomic environment. aim10x is where this competitive edge takes shape,” said Igor Rikalo, president and COO, o9 Solutions.

Brett Theisen, CRO, o9 Solutions echoes his colleagues sentiments and says that aim10x Americas is “more than just an event” to demonstrate what sets o9 apart. “It serves as a launchpad for sharing new ideas, offering creative solutions and accelerating the next wave of success for all our clients regardless of the industry they operate within,” he said.

Use cases exemplified

As manufacturers navigate reshoring (in the US in particular) and the rise of AI and automation, staying competitive requires rapid transformation, clearly.

Brent Hasenkamp, global VP of industry solutions at o9 Solutions, will unpack the macro trends reshaping the manufacturing landscape. He will be joined by Matthew Gillett, VP of product management at Acuity, who will share how one of North America’s leading providers of lighting and building management solutions is responding, using advanced planning to navigate a complex, highly configurable product portfolio and long lead times.

Other customer sessions include: How Keurig Dr Pepper Unified Planning Across the Supply Chain. Keurig Dr Pepper (KDP) a company that is actually home to over 125 brands including Dr Pepper, Snapple and Green Mountain Coffee, is currently undertaking a digital transformation of its complex, high-volume supply chain with o9.

Oh, MEIO

In this session, Navin Chander, vice president of S&OP and customer service at KDP, will share how the company is integrating IBP, Supply Planning and MEIO into a single source of truth.

MEIO you say? What’s that?

MEIO denotes Multi-Echelon Inventory Optimisation and is the ability to perform inventory planning, inventory optimisation and scenario analysis across an entire line of business, or an entire business.

Overall, we can expect a big Texas welcome at the start of this year’s post-summer event season and that also comes with barbecue (hopefully), hot weather (inevitably) and a chance to engage with the company’s high-intensity interval training, pilates or early morning running and jogging sessions.

How about a cold beer after all that? Well, it has to be Texas Lone Star, cheers.
