Everywoman in tech 2026 nominations – submit now

The public has until October 27 2025 to enter nominations for everywoman’s technology awards, with winners to be announced in March 2026.

Now in its 16th year, the Everywoman 2026 Technology Awards is looking for nominations for women across science, technology, engineering and maths (STEM) who are both established and up-and-coming – with the awards showcasing women in roles from student and apprentice all the way up to c-suite.

The Everywoman Technology Awards aims to showcase female role models in the technology sector, and on the subject Nicole Goodwin, joint managing director of AllBright everywoman, explained: “These awards not only celebrate the individuals driving innovation today, but also highlight the vital role women will continue to play in shaping the future of the tech industry.

“By extending the deadline, we hope even more women will submit their nominations so they can be recognised for their remarkable achievements. Their stories will inspire the next generation and demonstrate the limitless possibilities of a career in STEM.”

The slow growth of the number of women in the technology sector has been an ongoing issue during, and before, the 16 years Everywoman has been running its tech awards, with research from BCS finding women made up around 20% of technical roles in the UK in 2022, a number that hasn’t moved much over the last five years.

Not only are young women deterred from entering the technology sector due to a lack of inclusion and misconceptions about tech roles, women are also leaving the technology sector in droves due to difficulties reaching top roles.

A lack of role models is one of the first reasons cited when the question of why girls don’t choose tech careers comes up, alongside a lack of understanding of what tech roles involve and the types of people who do them, both of which could be solved with more people from the industry being available to young people to explain and educate.

Everywoman’s awards aim to build a portfolio of accessible and relatable role models in the sector who those looking into tech careers can follow and aspire to be and learn from, as well as help those in the sector grow and progress into the more senior positions they’re aiming for.

Over the last 16 years Everywoman has recognised over 500 women from the technology industry alone, and also offers other awards, events, education and networking opportunities to help advance women in the workplace.
