Global conglomerate Cargill is upgrading its IT infrastructure with 30,000 Dell servers, notebooks and laptops across 61 countries over the next three years.

Dell will pre-install Windows server and desktop operating systems. Centralised global asset management of Cargill's PC desktop and server infrastructure will be based on the Altiris Management Suite, which allows IT managers to roll out software and security patches across the company from a single location.
