Unilever has selected Vodafone to provide global mobile management in a three-year deal.
Vodafone Global Enterprise will manage devices, connectivity and managed mobile services for 50,000 of Unilever's employees across 63 countries. Vodafone will also advise Unilever on managing consumer devices and applications.

Pascal Visee, chief enterprise support officer at Unilever, said: "Mobile services play a crucial role in working towards this goal, as they will support us in creating an agile and cost-competitive organisation that operates in a sustainable way. The global agreement allows us to deliver a consistent operational service to our highly mobile employees, against the right costs."
Unilever will also use Vodafone's hosted telecoms management service to simplify the management of mobile communications.
