Calling the next generation of women to the boardroom

Last week I was invited to a women in tech event by Jacqueline de Rojas, vice president and general manager of CA UK and Ireland.

I met Jacqueline after she agreed to speak at Computer Weekly's women in IT event this year. She is arranging her own women in tech event, but one with a difference.

The event aims to put C-level women in the tech industry in front of search firms who are looking for non-executive females.

During speed-dating slots the firms will engage with the women to find the next generation of boardroom females.

The event will take place on November 5th 4:30-6:30pm at the Club at The Ivy (9 West Street, WC2H). If you are interested in attending it is by invite only, however you can Linkedin with Jacqueline who will be pleased to hear from like-minded women in the industry.

I'm looking forward to attending such a practical event and I hope to see some of the WITsend community there.
