Good news if you're an owner of the first generation iPod nano. Apple is offering free replacements to those still in possession of the company's device circa 2005 to 2006.

Apparently due to a faulty battery the first generation nano has been recalled, with owners being offered a free shiny replacement.

On the downside, though, there is danger that your nano could spontaneously combust due to the defect before you get a chance to send it back.

Guess that would add a whole new literal meaning if you happen to be listening to "Burn baby Burn" or "Relight my Fire" at the same time.
