Dreamforce 2014: #DFGives One Million Meals campaign


A philanthropic element of Salesforce Dreamforce, the website representatives package rice to tackle the fact one out of every eight people in the world suffer from chronic hunger. The #DFGives One Million Meals campaign aims to raise funds to donate one million meals to food banks around the world.

Motivational speaker Tony Robbins and Marc Benioff have both personally offered to match the organisation’s one million meals target if it hits its goal. Under the wider umbrella of #DFGives there are events intended to address hunger-related causes and youth education, as well as development and veteran services. This effort also works to help firms get interested in and then integrate philanthropy in their corporate cultures and work policies.
