Retailer Mothercare has installed software that supports IT Infrastructure Library processes to improve the monitoring of calls to its IT helpdesk.

The IT services department at Mothercare supports 230 stores and more than 600 office-based users in the UK and internationally, as well as third parties and warehouses across the UK.

The software - Sostenuto Foundation from Sunrise Software - allows IT managers to monitor the rate of calls answered and alerts staff to targets, as well as providing caller and problem history.
