The service from BT Openzone will allow holiday makers and business people to to check e-mail and websites from Wi-Fi enabled laptops and PDAs. Wi-Fi hotspots have been installed in the departure and executive lounges, as well as other public areas.
Vouchers are available at the airport priced £40 for 4,000 minutes; £10 for 24 hours, and £6 for an hour's access to Openzone. In the past year BT has installed hotspots in other UK airports including Heathrow, Gatwick and Belfast and Luton.
