Antony Savvas

RSA has developed a security software token for Symbian enterprise smartphones to authenticate access to corporate networks.

The RSA SecurID Software Token 2.2 can be used on mobile devices running the Symbian OS and UIQ operating systems.

Symbian OS has so far been shipped with more than 145 million smartphones worldwide, and is the leading operating system for smartphones.

RSA SecurID Software Token 2.2 is designed to be used in conjunction with RSA Authentication Manager which delivers two-factor authentication on enterprise networks.

RSA already had mobile tokens for Blackberry, Windows and Palm devices on the market.
