OpenLogic to move open source information online

Antony Savvas

Enterprise open source development community OpenLogic will announce tomorrow that its entire certified library of open source projects - more than 300 - will be moved online and made available to anyone for free.

OpenLogic says its free online library will empower developers and enterprises in the UK to research, support and indemnify open source software packages from a trusted repository.

Among the things included on the new site will be a 42-point certification process for all available open source software and the ability to research open source packages, review certification scores, investigate licenses, and view adoption rates.

Earlier this year, OpenLogic partnered with UK open source software distributor Interactive Ideas to promote its open source systems.
