Royal Caribbean Cruises is to roll out Ariba software to analyse its £700m annual spending across its fleet of 29 vessels and help source products.

Royal Caribbean Cruises is to roll out Ariba software to analyse its £700m annual spending across its fleet of 29 vessels and help source products.

"Each of our ships must be self-supporting," said Michael McNamara, director, strategic sourcing planning and automation, at Royal Caribbean Cruises. "We must provision everything, including energy, maintenance, IT, waste management, consumables and all other necessities. The Ariba provides a single point of integration for sourcing and analysis."
