Virtualisation backup specialist Veeam continues to enhance its channel offering as it looks to provide more rewards for those resellers that put some muscle behind selling its products.

The vendor has introduced enhanced deal registration to its ProPartner programme as well as taking the wraps off a certified engineer programme, which is available to both customers and channel partners.
Both platinum and gold partners will be required to get certified engineer status and the vendor is recommending its silver resellers also undergo the classroom training sessions and those end-user engineers that want to go through the process can also access the programme.
The vendor also provided an update to its previous enhancements with its cloud provider programme delivering triple digit growth in the last year, with Veeam continuing to put focus on that area in 2014.
“Veeam has a channel-based business model and we recognise that the success of our ProPartners has a direct impact on our overall success,” said Gilles Pommier, Vice President of EMEA Channel at Veeam Software.
