Westcon Group, a value-added distributor has signed a distribution agreement with Enghouse Interactive to provide resellers with access to the recently launched Enghouse Interactive Communications Center (EICC) solution.
EICC consists of contact centre, call recording and operator console solutions compatible with Microsoft Lync.
Both companies claim high levels of expertise with Lync; Westcon has a Microsoft Gold Communications competency for Lync while Enghouse Interactive is a Microsoft Gold Partner.
David Grant, SVP of Westcon Convergence, EMEA, said: “Enghouse’s contact centre and call recording portfolio reduces the risk associated with Lync deployments.
“Its solutions are vendor agnostic and seamlessly migrate with existing PBXs so end-users can protect their existing assets and don’t have to ‘rip and replace’.”
The partnership with Enghouse has been designed to strengthen Westcon’s Lync offering and, added Grant, will empower resellers to win new business and increase profit margins.”
Iain McKenzie, group MD, EMEA at Enghouse Interactive, said that demand for Lync was growing across its customer base and believed the Westcon partnership would accelerate the process.
