The security player has formed a distribution agreement with Synnex, which will start selling the Becrypt products through its reseller network, as part of the distie's strategy of signing emerging vendors.
London-based Becrypt already has an office in the US but is viewing the latest agreement as the first time it has used a distributor to grow its channel and customer base in the territory.
Dr Bernard Parsons, CEO at Becrypt, said that the need to protect mobile data was not tied to a specific geography and the partnership with Synnex was a "major step forward".
“It gives us the perfect platform for expanding into the US marketplace and will help create valuable new revenue streams for Synnex and its partners as they tap into our knowledge and innovative approach to security," he said.
