SME cloud provider Zynstra, has appointed its first head of channel following a major $3.8m funding round as it attempts to drive its business into the channel.
Lisette Sens is joining the company as head of channel to build on existing reseller relationships and drive further growth.
Zynstra co-founder and CEO Nick East said: “[Sens]…has over 20 years’ experience in developing channel relationships with some of the world’s biggest technology vendors. Her experience and market knowledge will be crucial for Zynstra as we continue to build momentum through, and add to, our network of channel partners.”
The company launched its cloud technology in July of this year and since then has added a number or partners to its channel roster including BTA and TETip.
Zynstra’s cloud offering is based on making standardising hybrid cloud services so, its claims, they are affordable and reliable. Its service delivered on HP hardware and comes with fundamental IT capabilities including storage, security, backup, recovery and optional applications such as MS Exchange and SharePoint.
Zynstra launched earlier this year and says its hybrid model is designed specifically for SMEs who up until this point haven’t had the choice of hybrid cloud services.
