The deal builds on a five-year partnership between the two and Entatech aims specifically to build reseller corporate sales in servers and workstations. Entatech is also aiming to drive sales further by complimenting Fujitsu servers with the sale of Kingston memory products.
At the same time Entatech is promoting KingstonCare, Kingston’s post sales service that is designed to keep customers up and running. Entatech will also be implementing Kingston’s configurator onto Entaonline.com. This is a tool designed to match memory products with customer requirements.
Kingston has an existing focus on the server and workstation sector with a pre-sales KingstonConsult service for the channel and its enterprise clients.
Entatech director Jon Atherton was bullish on potential sales: “Since our launch, over five years ago, our sales and customer base for Kingston products has continued to grow and I am more than confident that this will develop further with the sales of Kingston’s SSM memory.”
Since September 2012, Entatech has been distributing Fujitsu’s range of laptops, desktops, tablets and server solutions. In June 2013 it also opened a new sales office in Leatherhead, with two dedicated Fujitsu server specialists on board. It claims a “notable increase” in server sales within a few months.
Ann Keefe, regional director, Kingston, anticipates healthy sales for its SSM technology: “Our relationship with Entatech has continued to go from strength to strength and this new business opportunity will enable our partnership to develop further.”
