SUSE has expanded its partner programme to make it easier for SAP resellers that want to sell the two vendors products in a solution to customers.
The move to add support for SAP Business One for SAP HANA to its PartnerNet programme is a recognition of the increasing demand for the business intelligence software from SMEs.
The extension to the partner programme will provide sales training and support around making sure that SAP can be combined with SUSE Linux Enterprise Server with partners getting access to an installation wizard to quickly install Business One.
SAP partners will also have access to SUSE electronic sales support and there will be the option to take on-line training to become a SUSE certified Linux administrator.
“SUSE Linux Enterprise Server is the recommended and supported operating system for use with SAP HANA. With SAP Business One, version for SAP HANA, we look forward to an ongoing upward trend in our customers’ success as they continue to see the value of implementing Linux within their IT environments," said Naji Almahmoud, senior director of SAP global alliance at SUSE.
Rinse Tamsma, vice president of channel, SAP Business One and SAP Business All-in-one, said that it had a close working relationship with SUSE that had enabled it to broaden its reseller ecosystem.
